How can I use MultiSwitch Plus with TimeLine MX?

MultiSwitch Plus (or original MultiSwitch) have 4 distinct modes of operation with TimeLine MX. To configure your MultiSwitch for use with TimeLine MX:

1. Press and hold the VALUE encoder for 2 seconds to enter the Global Settings (GLOBAL) menu.
2. Turn VALUE to EXP MODE, press VALUE, and then select the preferred functionality.
3. Connect one end of a 1/4 inch, TRS-to-TRS cable to the TimeLine MX EXP jack.
4. Connect the other end of the TRS cable to the MultiSwitch TRS input.
5. The connected MultiSwitch should now perform the selected Bank, Preset, Looper, or Tap TimeLine MX control functions.

To configure your TimeLine MX for MultiSwitch Plus, press and hold the VALUE encoder for 2 seconds to enter the Global Settings (GLOBAL) menu, then turn VALUE to select and configure the following individual settings:

1. Set MIDI CHANNEL to Channel 1 (factory default)
2. Set EXP MODE to the desired option
3. Set MIDI THRU to MERGE

The different modes and functionality for each footswitch are:

1. BANK: Bank Down// Preset A/B toggle// Bank Up
2. PRESET: Preset Down// Bypass/ Engage// Preset Up
3. LOOPER
   3a. Normal Mode: Record/ Dub// Play// Stop
   3b. Looper Mode: Reverse/ Forward// Half/ Full Speed// Preset Up
4. TAP: Preset Down// TAP Tempo// Preset Up
